Bullshitalacarte:
Happy Fathers’ Day! :)
This is a picture of my late Poppy, my mom (in the coordinating red outfit) and my Aunt Gloria circa 1975.
(Yes I did and yes it was.)
…someone from Italy, Poland, Taiwan, and two from Russia.
I will be getting five more postcards from five new strangers.
You should do it, too.
Here I am at the 1991 Contrucci Family Reunion.
Check out how young my mom looks.
And look at Great-Aunt Dorinda creeping in the back with her cig.

I want a tattoo that somehow incorporates grapes and the phrase ‘docle far niente’ (an Italian phrase meaning the sweetness of doing nothing/delicious idleness). I’d like matching grapes on my feet/ankles with one side having the phrase.
I have such commitment issues, though. Grrrr.
I’m also fond of the phrase ‘joi de vivre’ and also of the word gypsy (which many people call me). Or maybe ‘Thursday’s child has far to go’ from the poem Monday’s Child. I was born on a Thursday and have had a ramblin’ soul ever since.
I am a confused woman.
