Wow, it’s cold! (See what I did there? I made an observation about the weather to put you at ease about whether or not I’m real.)

Hi there, ________________! (You can fill in your name there, I think it might make it more personal, friendly even!)

I’m a 30 year old guy living in the friendly confines of Saint Louis, and I’m looking for somebody to enjoy life with me. What does that mean? See below.

- Like every other guy posting here, I’m a die-hard Cardinals fan. When Albert left the Cardinals, I wrote some cheesy 90’s breakup poetry. I’ll even share it if we make it to the second or third date.
- I really enjoy music of most genres. I’m a musician, but it’s not my primary job. When I’m single (like now), it’s my primary love. I love to see live shows at the Pageant, and if bands like Keane or Ben Folds are in the tri-state area, I’ll probably try to get somebody to come with me.
- I really like to travel. I’ve been having this recurring dream of traveling through the Italian countryside, and it sounds like something I don’t really want to do alone.
- I enjoy the finer things in life as well as the more ridiculous things. I love wine for example, but I’ll probably have a Diet Pepsi when the need for caffeine kicks in.
- I like to read, and I love to watch movies. Once again, this doesn’t separate me from the other Joe Schmo’s posting on the old CL, but at least you know that I’m like them too.
- I sometimes dream that I can put on a tuxedo, go to a club with a big band and sing Sinatra tunes all night.
- I am a geek… not a dork. (dorks collect things. I just like geeky things).
- I am business minded, and I am driven. Okay, so you saw earlier that I like to travel, and I like the finer things in life. I have to pay for all of that, but frankly, I work to live.. not live to work.

You’re still here?
With that said, I have also been through a lot of good (and bad) relationships where I learned a lot. If you continue to read this, I thank you for continuing to fight the good fight. Here are some more things about what I’ve learned from relationships.

- I’ve learned that when I’m in love, I am capable of the love I could ever imagine.
- I’ve learned that it really takes two people to keep a relationship going. If one person isn’t in it, it just isn’t going to work.
- We all have baggage, and yes, I’m looking for baggage that’s goes with mine, however, I don’t seek Drama Magnets.
- I’ve learned that I want somebody who is comfortable with their life. They know that the perfect mate can accentuate it, and perhaps the perfect mate can make this short time on Earth that much more adventurous.
- I’ve learned that I want somebody to be educated and have a job. That means a college degree (at least). I had a good relationship with a lady who was finishing up school, but school took up her life. It wasn’t conducive to a long term thing.

This is important.
- I’ve learned that I really am handsome, and that was something I always quite shy about. When I lost 50 pounds, I felt that my smile was brighter, and my motivation (which was already high) tripled.
- I’ve learned that I deserve to be happy.

You’re really still here? Hot damn! Okay, I’ll wrap it up.
If you’re a smart, attractive, caring female that wants to be with a genuine, somewhat funny, and successful guy, email me. Let’s talk. Let’s grab a cup of coffee if it’s too early, and maybe a glass of Cabernet if it’s a little too late.

You deserve to be happy as well. I ask that you’re D/D free, as I am, and I hope that you are thinking to yourself, “This guy… there’s something about this guy.”

We’ll say we met on Match.com… or at a winery… or something. We’ll play it by ear.

I can’t wait to hear the music of your life.

Because Craigslist is rampant with spam-bots, please put your favorite song from the 1990’s in your subject.

What’s mine? “Two Princes” - The Spin Doctors.
Please make love to me. NOW.
